First few photos are from an evening with Yasuo.
The restaraunt we ate at.
As we stepped out of the restaurant we saw this parade of sorts going through the streets. In Shintoism (one of the two predominant religeons in Japan) it is customary to carry the god (gods?) through the streets every year so they can bless the whole city, or something like that. Anyway, that is what all of this was.
Freshmen
Awesome bass clarinet player.
I look forward ro riding this one day.
The next group of photos are from Shinjuku on a few different occasions.
Notice two things: 1) The fresh donuts sign is on, and 2) The line goes off the screen to the left for quite a ways
Times Square!
Two CAJ staff members were on the 23rd floor of one of the towers when the earth quake hit 3 weeks ago. One of them said interval of the sway from the quake was about 6 seconds from side to side.
It makes me think of one of Dr. Evils space ships...if you know what I mean.
